My 25+ years in education and what it means for your marketing
I’m Michael, Founder of Buzz Education. For over 25 years, I’ve supported education suppliers, start-ups and global brands like Apple and Samsung to successfully connect with schools across the UK.
My first-hand experience in education
I’m a former secondary school teacher and middle leader, but I’m also actively involved in schools – here’s how:
I’m a Chair of Governors in a primary school and secondary school
I know what schools need right now, how they spend, the influencers and decision makers involved in purchasing decisions, approval processes and more.
I’m a Chair of a Secondary Finance Committee
I know how schools budget, when they spend, obstacles they face when making purchasing decisions, techniques education suppliers can introduce to increase purchases and more.
I sit on Local Authority Disciplinary panels, Secondary School Places Appeals Panels and Permanent Exclusion Appeals Panels
I understand first-hand the challenges schools face and the support they need to improve the teaching and learning experience.
I’ve been though 3 Ofsted inspections, coordinated a school academisation and lead on 2 Headteacher recruitment processes.
Why this matters for you
My years of education experience give you a unique advantage – I truly understand your target audience including what they need, what they look for, how much they spend, when they spend, why certain marketing strategies fail, why others succeed – you get the gist. I’ll help you maximise the impact of your marketing and more effectively build relationships with schools.
