See how we make a positive impact

Through our collective work as a team, Buzz does more than marketing to education. We give back to our local community by supporting schools, businesses and charities.
“As a business, we want to work consciously and leave a genuine impact on the world around us. Through Buzz Does, we’re able to assess our environmental impact and take measures to improve it. We also want to work with community projects that support people and organisations around us.”

Protecting our planet has never been more important. To make sure we’re meeting and exceeding our responsibilities as a business, we’ve started to implement a number of measures to reduce our environmental impact.
- Switched to sustainable office supplies from our local zero-waste shop.
- Introduced PC power down where we switch off our PCs at the end of the week to reduce our energy consumption.
- Recycle our waste using Hubba.
- Reduce the number of our office deliveries to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Participated in the Eco-I North West Programme with the University of Liverpool to better understand our carbon footprint and develop a clear action plan to guide our next steps.
- Continue to educate our team on our environmental impact so that we each understand the steps we can take to lower our carbon footprint.
- Developed a new partnership with Let’s Go Zero – the national campaign helping schools to become zero carbon by 2030. Through a series of email marketing campaigns, we’ve helped Let’s Go Zero to increase awareness of their campaign, encourage more schools to sign up and encourage both teachers and students to take positive steps towards a more sustainable future.

We’re passionate about giving back to our local community, whether it’s through charity fundraising, volunteering, or supporting schools and their learners.

Supporting our team’s mental health and wellbeing is a top priority for us. Below are some of the steps we’ve introduced so far.

- Offered an interest-free loan to team members to support them financially.
- Introduced Rewards Gateway, an employee experience platform where team members can access discounts on a diverse range of brands and products.
- Introduced flexi-days where team members can request additional working-from-home days to support their personal circumstances.
